Do you want to live your life running around the vicious circle of impatience? You know that old saying “Rome was not built in a day.” At times our lack of patience will cause us to give up something important in our lives because we want what we want RIGHT NOW! We want to accomplish something but are not willing to go through the long process involved in reaching our goals. What to do?
When you are in a rush to reach a goal, remember that once you reach that goal, there will most likely be another goal that you will want to reach. You will become impatient about the next goal and so on and so on. Do you want to live your life running around the vicious circle of impatience?
Many of us ruin the quality of our lives by fretting all the time about how well we are doing, or how much we have done. We could be so much happier if we set goals, YES great goals: but at the same time created realistic plans for reaching our goals. What ever happened to spending an afternoon by the river, without an iphone in hand? Whatever happened to having a cup of tea on the porch and relaxing? Many of us do not remember those days or perhaps have never experienced those days.
Let us step our of the vicious circle of impatience and into the vibrations of joy that we can be blessed with each day, if we work hard and enjoy our work. Let us develop deeper energies of patience within and feel the bliss that is part of each one of us, if we will only realize how happy we can be.

When someone is ill, send love through distance healing. Or perhaps you may call it “prayer.” I believe that sending our love or sending our prayers creates a real a energy which travels thorugh the cosmos to the person in need.
Sometimes I like to visualize an image from nature, and then visualize that this image is saturated with healing. Now it is time to imagine that I am sending this image to the person in need of healing.
Today I have one friend who is having a chemo therapy treatment, and anohter friend who has just been admitted to the hospital with a possible infection. I also spoke to a friend today who is mourning the recent passing of her mother.
My healing image today is of green leaves: leaves that are full of health and vitality. I am pouring my love into these leaves and projecting thoughts of this image to my three friends. This is my way of praying for those I love.

I do not believe the world is going to end anytime soon, but I do think we have some world issues that need our full attention. This is a time when we need to look at our personal energy as if it were money in the bank and ask ourselves “what is the best use of my energy?”
Many of us who see ourselves as people who walk the spiritual path have soft hearts for those with problems, and we do more than our fair share as we try to help our friends through difficulties. Many of us have also come to the point where we realize that it is a waste of energy to help some people because they are not willing to do their part: they are not willing to make choices to better their lives.
Especially during this time on the earth, it is more important than ever to evaluate how we spend our valuable energy. With world communications as they are, we are now AWARE of how many starving people there are in the world. We are now AWARE of the problems in our ecological system. So I ask myself and I ask you to ask yourself: “What is a better use of my energy: to try to keep helping people who are not willing to help themselves, or to spend my time on social projects that help communities who are truly in need?” “What is a better use of my time: to help a friend who never learns or to help a child with his homework?” “What is a better use of my time: to argue with people who are not willing to face the ways they are abusing themselves, or to work a few extra hours each week and donate the money to a community that has next to nothing?” You and I only have so much personal energy. How are we going to spend this energy?
There comes a point where we cannot help people who are not willing to help themselves. Of course there are exceptions as there are people who are absolutely not capable of helping themselves. But in this instance we are discussing those who CAN help themselves but do not choose to do so.
It becomes a waste of our valuable life energy to continue to spend energy on those who do not receive any benefit from continual attempts to be helpful.
I ask myself again “How am I going to spend my personal energy?” I ask you :How are you going to spend yours?”

When I lived in California, I knew a man named John who lived out of his van. He sold old books and records and traveled from town to town. I was working as a musician then, and he knew all the musicians in the towns he visited. I would walk with him sometimes and he would look at a public park and say “welcome to my park.” He knew the world belonged to him even if he did not own much of anything. What a fortunate and wealthy man.
Sometimes it is easy for us to feel sorry for ourselves, but if we take a look at our lives there are many things to be grateful for. If we have places to live and food on the table, we have alot that many people in our world do not have. And yet, so many of us become despondent and greedy, always wanting more, more, more. When this happens, we waste the precious time we have on this earth.

Our lives are full of work, family, cell phones to answer, and emails to respond to. As we walk the spiritual path it IS possible to be as busy as we are and at the same time realize the spark of Divinity that is within each one of us. Simply by creating a ~Moment of Prayer~ each hour though out the day, we can remain in touch with the Divine.
Take a moment each hour to focus your full attention on the Divine. No matter where you are or what you are doing, offer a prayer of gratitude. Your life will be enriched and you will find yourself making better choices for yourself and your world.
As we take a moment away from the busy activity we are engaged in and focus on the Divine, we will receive the Light that we need. We will feel healthier, better able to meet the challenges of human life, and more able to help others.
Take a day and focus on a ~Moment of Prayer~ each hour. At the end of the day ask yourself ” How do I feel? Have a had a better day? Have I moved closer to wanting to improve our world?”

When you hit a bump in the road and go flying, remember that once you land safely on the other side of that bump, the road stretches far in front of you. You may not hit another bump for miles and miles. Don’t get off the road, because of an occasional bump.
On the spiritual path, we also hit many so called “bumps.” When we hit a bump, we become scattered and often feel like we are falling apart . It is important to know that often when one has survived a slight hiccup or bump, great progress is to be made. As you fall apart, you may be letting go of old habits and behaviors that you do not need any longer. Pray for Divine Guidance and you will find your way back to the spiritual path and keep moving forward.

When you feel trapped in a corner and no solution for escape appears
Create the Possible
When your mind gives you ten reasons why there are no good solutions to your problems
Create the Possible
When your logic traps you into depression because there is no way out
Create the Possible
Rise above your mind and listen to your heart
Allow your spark of Divinity to guide you
