Five Books have changed my life and I would like to tell you about each book and why it was life changing.

Wishcraft by Barbara Sher: I read this book years ago and Barbara helped me make many life decisions.  As a creative person, with multiple interests and talents, I found it hard to focus on a direction.   As I did the exercises in Wishcraft, I was able to find a way to integrate all of my interests and talents into a professional and spiritual path that has been wonderful. My thanks go to Barbara Sher.

Opening to Channel by Sanaya Roman and Duane Parker:  Those of you who have read my most recent book Cosmic Connection: Messages for a Better World, know how much this book by Sanaya and Parker influenced me. I had never really thought about channeling or as many would call it, receiving inspirational messages from a Divine Source.  When I read this book and began to experiment with the exercises,  I found my true spiritual path as a psychic medium and author.  I am grateful to Sanaya Roman and Duane Parker.

In Tune With the Infinite by Ralph Waldo Trine: When I discovered my gift as a psychic medium and began to study with Spiritualist organizations, I was introduced to this incredible book of philosoply. Ralph Waldo Trine is inspired as he writes.  His quotes often find their ways into my lectures and sermons when I serve a Spiritualist Church.  My spirit reaches out to Ralph Waldo Trine.

The Integral Yoga by Sri Aurobindo: This teacher who began as a freedom fighter for India, and ultimately founded the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry,  is fast becoming my spiritual teacher.  While he is no longer living in the body, he left us the gifts of many books. I do not know how one man could write so many incredible books.  The last time I visited the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, I had the privilege of visiting the room where he did his writing. I could feel the incredible energy and as a writer myself, was grateful for this experience.  As I read his books I learn, I am transformed, and encouraged to work for a better world.  His writings have had a great influence on me as I have written Cosmic Connection: Messages for a Better World. I express great gratitude to my teacher Sri Aurobindo.

The Mother’s Vision: The Mother: A woman who came to be called The Mother, founded the Sri Aurobindo Ashram with Sri Aurobindo.  Her books are full of enlightenment, and her words are easy to understand. One can live a better life by just reading a few paragraphs of her books daily.  An incredible teacher and inspiration to us all,  I encourage you to read The Mother’s Vision.   My love pours out to The Mother.

Books are wonderful creatures that are able to change our lives.  As we read the words of an author, it is like having an intimate conversation with the writer. The books we read take us to places we might never travel otherwise.

Hello Carole,

Surfing the net for like minded blogs I came across yours and was very pleased to discover your webiste and blog. I very much look forward to reading in more detail about your work.

I have been on a journey of self discovery for 15 years now and am beginning to channel. I have just set up my own blog site ‘Spirit Whispers’ as I wanted to share with others, some of the beautiful inspirations that Spirit has begun to share with me.
