Reach High. Move towards the goals in life most important. Make the effort. These actions will bring contentment and peace. We do not feel happy within when we know that we are not giving our all to do the things we feel we are meant to do.
Take risks, look within, pray for Divine Guidance as you map out your schedule. Reach high, spend time with friends that are positive. Help those not so positive but protect yourself from their negativity. Reach high. Find your best self. Reach high.

Hope is renewed with spring blossoms. Whatever the cold days have brought, it is over soon, and a new season of joy begins.
Be with flowers every day if you can. Walk with the flowers outside and bring at least one fresh flower into your home. You will see how life changes and how hopeful you become as you gaze into the glow of a fresh flower.
The Mother, one of the founders of the Sri Aurobindo Society in India, loved and was devoted to flowers. She studied flowers and gave each flower a special spiritual name. When you visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, India, you will see fresh flowers of devotion every day, beautifully arranged.
Bask in the hope of a flower and you will feel hope.

If you are finding all kinds of reasons why you cannot be happy, then it is time to focus on yourself and change your mind about your life. We all have problems, we all have illnesses or those close to us are ill, and many of us have been through devastating and psychologically damaging experiences. All of this being true, we can still be happy.
If you and I cannot find a way to be happy in the next five minutes, then we have not learned how to be happy. Of course we are going to be unhappy at times, but once we have allowed ourselves to feel and express our unhappiness, we can move on and experience the joy of life that is there for each and every one of us.
There are many authors who write books about gratitude and the appreciation of life. I also write about getting on the “happiness train” in my book Consult Your Inner Psychic.” The writing of this book and the practicing of the exercises included in the book, have changed my life for the better. Many of my clients have also improved their lives as they use the spiritual exercises. I recommend the book to you if you want to experience more of the joy life has to offer.

In my role as a psychic medium I talk to people every day who want a reading. Depending on a person’s experience, cultural background and education regarding readings, the expectations of people are all over the place. It is clear that the general public needs to understand that there are many kinds of readings available, and beyond that must also understand that readers each have their own style. It is also clear that those of us who give readings must make sure before booking an appointment, that the prospective client is informed about what to expect in the reading.
As readers we have extremely different perspectives on what a reading should be. This makes it extremely confusing for those who seek readings. And yet, it would be impossible to standardize our readings as one thing we as readers can most likely agree on is that Spirit works with us in different ways. We are not able to mass produce our readings and thank the Lord, that we cannot. A good reading is mystical and the reader is able to bring through messages from loved ones, spiritual guidance and inspiration. This cannot be standardized. Although education for readers is extremely important as we can learn how to best use the spiritual gifts we have been given, at some point we will not individually be able to follow all the rules and guidelines we have learned from our human teachers, as ultimately the Spirit Within each reader will be the most important teacher.
So what is the person who wants to get a reading to do? How can people know what kind of reading to get and which reader to choose?
After answering questions about readings on the phone for many years, I said to myself one day “You know Carole, what you need to do is write a small book for the people who want to understand more about readings. And so I wrote “How to Get a Good Reading From a Psychic Medium.” I ask people who are confused about readings, to read this book and then call me back with any additional questions. I also ask those who are going to have a reading with me, to read the book before hand as they will then come into our readings as an oriented client, rather than a disoriented client. I am likely to do a much better job with a client who knows what is going on.
Some of my colleagues now keep a stack of How to Get a Good Reading From a Psychic Medium in their offices. They find that this book helps their clients. Consider reading this book if you want to get a reading, and if you are a reader, consider offering it to your clients. Many people ask how they can get in touch with their inner guidance. Instead of depending on seeking advice from others, they want to tune into that part of each one of us that is connected to Divine Consciousness.
Too often, we mistake our deep emotions as messages of truth about our lives. But in reality, our emotions are full of desires from the ego, and cannot always be the best source of guidance. There is a level of consciousness beyond our thinking and emotions, that connects us with the power of the Divine. It is through this mystical connection that we can learn and become the people we want to be.
As we connect with the Divine, we have individual experiences and do not see the Divine in the same way. Some speak of God, some of the angels, some of spiritual guides: there are many ways that the Divine appears to us and many ways that we interpret messages from the Divine. It is a shame that as human beings we argue so much over what the Divine is really like when it may be that many of us are connecting to the same Source. Why argue about the Divine? Let us instead, focus on opening to the Divine so that we may better serve ourselves and others during our human lives on earth.
